Our 10th Anniversary Year

Didn’t we have a wonderful time! – the day we went to Newark

Back in early May, as part of the 10th Anniversary year, members of the group visited the Society for All Artists (SAA) establishment in Newark.

In addition to being able to browse around the shop to view a wide selection of art products, folks were treated to a demonstration, of Pastel Drawing by Vic Bearcoft, of a wolf. Upon completion, the picture was donated to the group. The picture is shown being held by Athea.

A visit to the `Paint a Poppy’ exhibition and the opportunity to watch the making of a video Tutorial demonstration to add to the SAA’s library of tutorials, helped to make the day a resounding success.

Come on in, everybody welcome

Also in May, the group held a celebratory Open Evening that was well attended and very successful. There was a good selection of work, produced by members, on show.
